For Erick Smalls, the idea for Super Supplies Cartoon began with a moment of pure joy. Watching his younger siblings’ excitement while exploring a tablet sparked something profound. He realized the power of creativity and learning to touch hearts. That spark became a lifelong mission: to help millions of children and families find hope, joy, and confidence through love and education.

“Education is everything,” Smalls says. “We’re not just cartoons—we’re resources, we’re school supplies, we’re support systems that help children graduate and families grow.”

For over 11 years, Super Supplies Cartoon has been developing an ever-expanding world of creativity and learning. The brand merges entertainment and education through animated characters, literacy programs, books, school curricula, scholarships, and community partnerships. Smalls’ journey hasn’t been easy. “I started at 21, and now I’m 32,” he shares. “I’ve faced a lack of funding, people not believing in my vision, and so many obstacles in learning about ownership. But I never gave up. Every failure was preparation for success.”

Guided by faith, perseverance, and deep love for his community, Smalls has built Super Supplies Cartoon from the ground up, handling everything from trademarks and copyrights to storytelling and animation.

For the Culture, By the Community

While Super Supplies Cartoon’s message of love is universal, its roots are proudly Black. “We love everyone, but we are very much Black-owned and for the Black community,” says Smalls. “Our goal is to uplift every child while honoring where we come from.”
