Shop With Purpose At The Buy From A Black Woman Holiday Market
Shopping with intention means choosing to spend in a way that aligns with your values and uplifts communities. This holiday season, the Buy From a Black Woman Holiday Market presented by H&M, offers the perfect opportunity to shop meaningfully by supporting Black women-owned businesses.
“Our Holiday Market isn’t just a shopping event, it’s part of a movement toward real, lasting economic empowerment for Black Women Business Owners,” says Nikki Porcher, founder of nonprofit organization Buy From A Black Woman.
Buy From A Black Woman supports Black women business owners by providing funding, education and visibility through access to the highest-ranking online directory of Black women-owned brands. And the holiday market, which puts Black women-owned products in H&M stores across North America, is one of their programs.
“Partnering with H&M lets us amplify our impact even more. Black women are still here, still creating, still leading, and this market is a celebration of their resilience and strength,” explains Nikki.
What to Expect at the Holiday Market
Attendees can expect to find a selection of unique products from 25 Black woman-owned businesses, ranging from hand-crafted jewelry to original artwork, and more. The holiday market starts on November 30th in Toronto, and will be traveling to Los Angeles, Harlem and New York City over the course of December.
