Nicholas Ryan Gant’s RESTORE: An Album of Healing, Growth, and Harmony
In a world still processing collective trauma, Nicholas Ryan Gant—affectionately known as NRG—offers a sonic balm with his new album RESTORE. This project is a reconciliation with the world, a spiritual offering, and a call to inner healing.
A Journey of Sound and Spirit
Co-produced and mixed by three-time GRAMMY Album of the Year winner Mikey Freedom Hart, RESTORE is layered with lush harmonies and soulful textures. The 11-track project invites listeners into Gant’s most vulnerable spaces, addressing growth across relational, experimental, and spiritual dimensions.
From reflective ballads to affirming anthems, RESTORE is rooted in a deep care for community. Songs like “Grow Where You Plant” featuring Sa-Roc and “Confidence Key” with Suede Jury and Jeary Sylves highlight resilience and self-discovery, while “Love is All Around” with Amma Whatt reminds us that healing often begins with love. The album also includes lullabies crafted for young Black children, planting seeds of confidence, caution, and compassion.
