The Knockout ™ Clothing is made for HBCU Students

KnockoutStarted 6 years ago on September 13, 2010 by Anisette Davis, The Knockout ™ was created using her freshman refund check from college. Instead of spending it like the normal freshmen did on trips to Cancun and putting deposits on new cars, Anisette decided to invest in herself. “The Knockout stands for a person who has confidence in their own style whatever it maybe. Why FIT in when you’re born to STAND out!”

It started as a hobby at Texas Southern University and then Anisette started doing shows all around Houston and at other universities. They recently launched theirKnockout new Fall semester collection. “My clothing is for the college student who wants to get up and throw something on that is casual but not too much effort, or you can style it up and go to the movies with friends or date night with your significant other. I thought to myself what can I wear that’s not too much fuss and can still remain true to my fashion style while still being a student and getting to class on time?”

Bringing awareness to The Knockout can help do that and let other college students such as Anisette shop for an affordable price. Most college students are tight for cash between buying books and food, so she wanted the incoming freshmen to know that college is a great experience!
